I'm Claire and I co-founded Barming Fitness six years ago with Elaine in 2014. I absolutely LOVE what I do. I have a passion for health and fitness and get my kicks out of helping others achieve their goals! I'm motivated and passionate and nothing makes me happier than when my clients reach their goals whether it's through personal training or as part of our group classes.

Having previously worked in an office environment and now working outside has helped me to stay fit and healthy. Training outside has definitely helped me with my own mental health and anxiety as well as boosting my 'happy' hormone, serotonin and generally boosting my mood, giving me so much more energy every day.

I'm also a Mum to my two gorgeous boys and a wife. I get that it can be a struggle to fit everything into our busy lives and sometimes trying to make time to exercise and take time for ourselves is tough! But even making an hour or two a week has so many benefits and really helps to feel good about yourself.

I'm a friendly, approachable and caring person who will work with you to understand your fitness goals and then help you achieve them through encouragement, motivation and of course a little hard work!

Elaine Fridd

I'm Elaine, I am the other co-founder of Barming Fitness. I have been a qualified Personal Trainer for 7 years. I also hold the following qualifications, Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral and am a Registered Boxercise Instructor.

I run the Saturday morning Bootcamp class which provides a full-body workout. I cater for all abilities and aim for each session to be different, not only focusing on fitness but having fun at the same time.

I love helping our clients meet their fitness goals and aspirations and I always say to people that I have the best job in the world because I really believe I do!
